<Faded> started out as a 10-man raiding guild on the Blackhand server. During Wrath, our guild pushed forward into 25-man content. Before transferring to Area 52, our guild was among the top ten Alliance guilds on Blackhand. We have since switched factions -- going from Alliance to Horde -- and now call the Area 52 server our home. With Cataclysm upon us, we have returned to our roots, becoming once again a 10-man raiding guild. Our ideologies are simple: we're looking to push forward in content and have a great time doing it. We're always looking for mature, dedicated players who can meet our raid times and feel that they are a good fit for our guild. Our Cataclysm progression is as follows:

Another heroic down, another SS forgotten. Oh well.
Of course I failed at taking a screen shot, but 2 weeks into the nerfs and we are now 4/7. Bael is our next target, these fights don't really seem that "heroic" anymore...over nerfed? maybe, do i care? no. However the speed at which we are killing these tells me that had we gotten here pre-nerf and not 1 week before....yay summer vacations ect ect. We would have been at least 3/7 or 4/7 by the time the nerfs hit. Very happy with our progression thus far, lets keep steamrolling to 4.3!
I have also updated recruitment to match our current needs, these really reflect that people have told me they are probably going to bow out in 4.3 and I want to keep our roster full for the last raid of the expac. If you meet our needs, or if you are just very good at your class toss an application up and we will see if you can find a home here. (I have 2 very reliable tanks and 3 very very reliable healers so I am currently only looking for dps for 4.3)
after 2 pulls last week, and 2 pulls tonight the bird fell....didn't really feel like a heroic....go nerfs.

Nef finally eats the dust. Great job everyone, we put in a lot of hard work on this one. First boss to pose a challenge in my opinion. On to heroics!
We have had quite a few of world top personal ranking on fights. Im Really impressed by our raiders. And patting myself on my own back....1. Amazed I got top (prot) and 2. lolcleave.

We are currently recruiting the following: warlock, death knight, rogue. Full 359 is preferred but we would be willing to gear the right applicant. Our raid schedule is light allowing plenty of time for outside activities. Repairs, flasks, and feasts are provided. Since our application section is currently down, please contact Laurith or Amafi in game. The ability to link logs is a huge plus. |

But seriously, 4/7 isn't too bad, considering all the hangups and personal issues we had getting this far. Shannox, Ryolith, Alys, and Domo down. Now it's on to Beth and Baleroc.

Hardmode Halfus Dead

So we decided out of sheer boredom to stop waiting for Firelands and kill stuff now. Even with a fried computer preventing our normal healing team from gathering for awesomeness, we took Halfus down. The kill was nice and clean, well except for the act of suicide from one shadow priest :)
A screenshot? You mean one of those things that other guilds do to show off their first kills? Pft. We are cooler than that, we have video!

World Rankings Keep on Coming
|
For a small 10man guild on a crap server, we are doing very very well. Al'Akir fell to our wrath (no screen shot as usual) leaving dear old Nef as our next target. DPS, Healers and tanks are also racking up the World Ranks according to WoL, with more than half our raiders now appearing in the top 200. Congratualtion Amafi, Denalb, Niccalus, Golld and Krysann.

Dead Bosses and Screen shots!

Congrats everyone for your hard work. After a painful sub 400k wipe, Cho'gall was downed two pulls later. Healers- you are amazing keeping going even after sending out a Battle Rez on a tank. DPS- interrupts were beautiful and well timed and you all kept raid damage low. And of course, our tanks took it to the face like the good boys they are. Everything fell into place and it showed. Next up Nefarian!
Also well done Denalb and Niccalus for ranking on WOL meters for Chimaeron for healing and DPS. You are beasts :) |

Faded- Still bad at screen shots

Yep, still can't remember to take screenshots. Maybe one day someone will remind our Fearless Leader to hit the button. Screenshots aside, three weeks into raiding and bosses are dropping like flies. Progression is moving along nicely as we have added Atramedes and Twilight Council to our list of kills. Cho'gall is next on our hit list and maybe we will go slap around another dragon or dispose of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions (and get a screenshot).
Still not recruiting raiders but raid leaders are more than welcome to talk to an officer. Please come with a complete proposal (days, times, loot system, who you have, what you want, etc) not just a "Yeah I wouldn't mind doing that" attitude. |
